The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) have been released.
Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) is an annual report of a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas. These reports also provide information on staff, finances, programs, and demographics for each school and district.
From the information contained in the TAPR, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) also develops and implements the Accountability Rating system used to rate Texas public schools and school districts.
Federal Report Card:
Section 1111(h)(2) of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires that each school district that received Title I, Part A funding to disseminate specific LEA (district) and campus level data to (1) all campuses, (2) parents of all enrolled students, and (3) to make the information widely available through public means such as posting on the Internet, distribution to the media, or distribution through public agencies.
