Educating children is a community endeavor, one that requires us all. Henderson ISD welcomes and appreciates the invaluable support of volunteers in our classrooms, libraries, cafeterias and workrooms, as well as motivational mentors to encourage students in need of a supportive adult. The HISD Volunteer Program offers a myriad of opportunities for parents, businesses, community organizations and civic groups to have a direct impact on the success of our students.
In order to begin volunteering, you will need to complete the application below. Once approved, you will receive an email notification and your information will be forwarded to the appropriate campus. For the safety and security of our students and staff, HISD conducts criminal background checks on all prospective volunteers.
