The HISD Board of Trustees has adopted an overall tax rate of $0.9293. This rate is the same as last year's rate.
HISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 2.60% AND WILL LOWER TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $24.80.
